IEC 62676-4:2025
The new IEC 62676-4:2025 “Application Guidelines for Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) for use in security application” is now published. In recent years, the technical requirements and security needs of VSS have developed rapidly. The standard has now been revised to reflect these changes.
In over 4 years of continuing work, IEC project lead at TC79/WG12 for IEC 62676-4 Michael Meissner – CEO of AEviso-Group in Taiwan & Head of VSS working group at BHE (German Security Association) – together with an international team of experts, revised the standard and brought it successfully through the standardization bodies of all IEC-member countries.
